A Vertical Farm by Gordon Graff

The Modular Agriculture curriculum at Ascension University examines the precepts and practices of integrated farming at the component level. Through this series of courses, students will study the atmospherics, the biodynamics, and the chemical complements, that comprise the operational mechanics of food production.

With over seven billion people inhabiting the earth and with another three billion scheduled to arrive by the year 2050, our current agricultural practices are simply not sustainable. Long term solutions such as closed loop irrigation systems and vertical farms are necessary if a greater humanity is to survive.
