Note: Dragonflies beat their wings 1,800 times per minute. Hummingbirds are able to beat their wings (depending on their size) from 720 to 4,800 times per minute. Thus they can hover, fly backwards, sideways, belly up, and straight up. Bees beat their wings from 12,480 to 16,830 time per minute!
