This Ascension University Edition, of The Fifth Epochal Revelation to our planet, is provided as a free study aid. It is intended for those Truth Seekers that have embraced the words of our Sovereign Lord, Jesus (Christ Michael), as he promised a spirit helper known as The Spirit of Truth. Those who hunger for Truth wholeheartedly desire a more perfect response to Divine Leading.

The Urantia Papers, known collectively as The Urantia Book, were developed as a true revelation to human kind. They also serve as a compendium with revelationary qualities. The book is often referred to as “The Fifth Epochal Revelation” because it was preceded by four other revelations of epochal significance. These prior efforts, made on our behalf, included:

1. The individual Jesus referred to as “the Prince of this world” was once the head of a highly organized teaching regime that included a staff of one hundred operating within a region then known as Dalamatia. These teachers shared the true concept of the First Source and Center. Their efforts were abruptly terminated when Prince Calagastia, and several of his staff members, joined forces with Lucifer and Satan in what became known as “the planetary secession.”
2. Adam and Eve labored to share the concept of the Father of all with our world’s evolutionary people. These Edenic teachings were also terminated due to a mission default. The Adamic revelation was, for the most part, lost by 2500 B.C. although some of these truths were carried forward by the Sethite priests and the Levantine religions still bear the remnants of these Sethite teachings.
3. Melchizedek of Salem inaugurated the third revelation of truth on our planet. He taught trust in the omnipotent beneficence of God and proclaimed that faith was the act by which men earned God’s favor. His teachings gradually commingled with the beliefs and practices of various evolutionary religions and developed into those theologic systems present on our world at the opening of the first millennium after Christ.
4. Jesus of Nazareth presented the concept of God as the Universal Father. The essence of his teaching was love and service. This incarnated Creator of our universe forever stands as the gold standard of the Golden Rule through his commandment that we “Love one another as I have loved you.”

The Urantia Papers differ from all previous revelations, for they are not the work of a single universe personality but a composite presentation by many beings.
