Quotes:
• I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. — Thomas Paine (1737-1809) British-American Journalist
• The all-seeing eye of God beheld our deplorable state; infinite pity touched the heart of the Father of mercies; and infinite wisdom laid the plan of our recovery. — David Brainerd (1718–1747) American missionary minister

Comment: A technique to recover after a tragedy is to imagine yourself in the future, happy and whole. You must still go through the pain or heartache, but you will emerge on the other side with a new attitude – a new you – able to handle this past difficulty. Bless your previous (and future) selves who have given (will give) you the resilience to carry on.
